Electrolysis Hair Removal
How does electrolysis work? A fine, sterile probe is inserted along the side of the hair in the follicle. A quick, electric current is directed to the hair root, destroying the hair growth tissue, allowing for the easy removal of each treated hair. The process of electrolysis will dry up the hair follicle, eliminating its regenerative ability, resulting in permanent hair removal. Since hair grows in stages, you will notice regrowth that may appear to be the same hair that was already treated, but new growth in the area can be the result of waxing, tweezing, and chemical treatments. Is electrolysis permanent? Yes, because it permanently destroys the hair root, which is the part that makes the hair grow back. It is the only truly permanent method of hair removal. How do I treat the hair between treatments? Do not tweeze or wax the area! We suggest that you trim the hair with a pair of scissors until you are able to return for treatment. When you tweeze or wax between treatments, you are only stimulating hair growth in that area, and if you are already having electrolysis treatments, you are taking steps back to square one. Continuing proper treatment will slow down the growth in the area, eventually resulting in permanency.
Laser Hair Removal
Why choose laser over electrolysis? Laser is a quick and effective method to permanently reduce and remove unwanted hairs, especially on larger areas of the body such as legs. Though a larger area can be treated with this method, the laser only targets the melanin, meaning those with lighter colored hair may not be the best candidates for the laser treatment. How does laser work? A gentle beam of light is emitted and passes through the skin to the hair follicle and is absorbed by the follicle (which is underneath the skin's surface) and disables it. The laser destroys the follicle with the heath that it generates. The destroyed hairs are either dissolved within the skin or rejected by the body (fall out or slough off) within 7-14 days. Unlike other methods that focus on removing individual hairs, laser treatments quickly treat a larger area of hair at once. Is laser permanent? Results will vary depending on the sin and hair type. Is is approximately 80-90% effective for permanent hair removal, and for hair that does return, it is lighter and softer. One much remember that the laser targets the melanin, therefore it works best on darker hair as opposed to lighter hair.
Vascular and Pigmented Lesions
Our non-invasive med-aesthetic system effectively treats a vast range of vascular and pigmented lesions, including telangiectasia, cherry angiomas and freckles, erythema, rosacea, broken capillaries, solar lentigos, mottled pigmentation. By exposing a pigmented lesion to short pulses of visible light, the highly concentrated temperature breaks the pigmented lesion into tiny particles and shatters the cells. These then disappear or rise to the surface of the skin as scabs, which are naturally exfoliated within one to two weeks. Discover your skin’s true beauty by booking your consultation today.
Spider Veins
Spider vein treatments offer numerous benefits, significantly enhancing both appearance and comfort. These treatments effectively reduce or eliminate the visible network of small, dilated blood vessels that commonly appear on the legs and face, leading to a more even and aesthetically pleasing skin tone. In addition to the cosmetic improvements, spider vein treatments can alleviate associated symptoms such as itching, burning, and aching. By improving circulation and reducing pressure in the veins, these procedures can also prevent the condition from worsening over time. Our laser treatments provide a safe and minimally invasive solution that boosts confidence and promotes overall vascular health.
Laser Facial
Laser facials offer a multitude of benefits, making them a popular choice for those seeking to rejuvenate their skin. These treatments use focused light energy to target various skin concerns with precision, resulting in a clearer, smoother, and more youthful complexion. Laser facials can effectively reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots while also improving skin texture and tone. They are also highly effective in treating acne, reducing redness, and minimizing the appearance of scars. By stimulating collagen production, laser facials promote long-term skin health and resilience. Additionally, the procedure is minimally invasive, typically involving little to no downtime, making it a convenient option for those with busy lifestyles. Overall, laser facials provide a safe and efficient way to achieve radiant, healthy skin.
